Our Team
Mike Anderson
Campus Executive Director
Mike is excited to lead the Rochester team as the Campus Executive Director. What started as a part time job in high school in a nursing home has turned into his calling for a lifetime career. He has a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management with an emphasis in long-term care management from Concordia College-Moorhead. He brings with him over 13 years of experience in senior leadership in nursing homes, assisted living, home care, clinics, treatment centers, and residential mental health operations. His wife Allysa teaches special education at the high school level. They have two sons, Rhett and Holt, who keep them busy; they are active in wrestling, lacrosse, foot and junior bible quiz. Their family also includes two dogs, a cat, and some chickens. His faith is strong and he serves as a leader in the Sunday school program and weekly small group. A fun fact: He recently took up running and plans to run a marathon this fall.

Alex Schepp

Alex has a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in Gerontology; she is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. She grew up in Wisconsin and currently lives in La Crosse-a bit of a hike from Rochester, but she doesn’t mind it. She is an animal lover—two cats named Fang and Griffin, a gecko named Dex and a beta fish named Jasmine. Fun fact: She loves the outdoors and is a huge plant person!
Tegan Roher
Director of Social Services
Tegan is the Director of Social Services at Rochester Rehabilitation and Living Center. She started here in March 2022 as a Social Services Assistant and was promoted to the Director position in August 2023. Tegan graduated from Winona State University in August 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. She enjoys getting to meet new residents and their loved ones and build relationships with them. She loves to see the reward of our short-term residents to return home independently once they have graduated with rehab at the facility. She wanted a career that would make a positive impact on people’s lives—and she is doing just that. She enjoys the fast-paced environment, and the paperwork isn’t too bad either! She loves spending time with her family and two dogs.
Cailie Peters
Director of Human Resources
Cailie has a double major in Business Administration and Human Resources from Winona State University and a Master’s from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She originally is from Wabasha and considers Rochester the big city, but loves being only 5 minutes from Target. Her “kid” Stella Bean is a Doberman who she adores. Fun fact: She loves snacks, is a big traveler, enjoys lifting weights at the gym.
Lisa Jones
Business Office Manager
Lisa’s duties include all the monthly billing for rent and services, as well as being the supervisor over the concierge service. She enjoys spending the day with her co-workers and the residents. She lives in Fountain, MN which is 35 miles south of Rochester. She has 11 children and six grandchildren, which is truly her biggest accomplishment in life! She has a huge garden and enjoys canning in the late summer and early fall.
Darla Hershey
Accounts Payable
Darla’s background is in accounting with an Associate’s degree and over 20 years of experience. She lives in Eyota with her husband, and they have five children and six grandchildren. She has two lovely dogs—Emma and Bart, and cat named Nora. Her favorite past times including reading novels and thrifting.
Kelly Morgan, RN, DON, RRLC
Director of Nursing
Kelly is the Director of Nursing for Rochester Rehab and Living. She has a Master’s degree in Nursing Education. She has spent her entire career in long term care. Kelly started as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked her way up to Director of Nursing. The part she loves most about her job is being able to get to know the residents. For some residents, we truly become their family. She lives in Pine Island, with her kids Jaxon, Colton, and Owen. She loves going to their baseball and football games, watch the Vikings and the Minnesota Wild, and spending their summer nights outdoors.
Maci Taets
Nursing Manager
Maci is excited to utilize her nursing background where she strives to create an environment of quality care and compassion for all residents and staff. She received her RN degree in 2023, prior to that she obtained her LPN license in 2020. She is expecting her first child and will then be getting married next year to her fiancé, Colton. Some of her favorite things and people include Colton and his son Kayden, as well the color purple and eating tacos!
Tony Bauer
Director of Environmental Services
Tony brings a plethora of experience and energy from various positions throughout his life. His experience is mostly in construction—even owning his own construction company in Georgia for many years. He couldn’t stay still when he “retired,” and decided to move to Minnesota to be closer to his wife’s family. His wife, Dr. Heidi Halla-Bauer, is a psychologist, and he has two sons. A fun fact is he played minor league baseball for the Augusta Green Jackets. In his spare time, he serves as a board member on the Southeast Minnesota Health Care Coalition, and coaches hockey and baseball.
