Rodrigo brings his professional expertise comprising “Big Four” consultant work, project management, and real estate development in a variety of product types ranging from schools to senior housing and multi-family properties.

Prior to VOANS, Rodrigo served in several roles including Development Manager at Nonprofit Elderly Housing, Development and Operations Corporation (“EHDOC”), as well as Development Principal at Affordable Housing Development Services (“AHDS”).

During his tenure in the affordable housing sector, he has managed development efforts for more than $60 million in refinancing and recapitalizations. Rodrigo has developed new construction of affordable housing in markets in California, Illinois, Connecticut and Florida, where he transacted the capitalization side of these deals with various sources including Bridge Financing, HUD secured financing, LIHTC and Donation Credits, among other sourced competitive financing.

Rodrigo’s work has also touched market-rate multi-family product types, as well as charter school developments while at the Miami-based development firm Dal Developers, LLC. Prior to his development work, Rodrigo served as a Consultant/Auditor for Deloitte, as well as an Operations Consultant at Y&V Engineering and Construction – a top 3 Oil & Gas and Construction Engineering firm in Venezuela with a presence in Colombia, Mexico, the U.S., and Canada. Prior to his auditing work, Rodrigo was Project Manager for Santander Bank US.
